I am Zahra Fathi, an architect, designer, and emerging curator specializing in creating cohesive, experience-driven spatial narratives across vast scales. My work sits precisely at the intersection of architecture, art, and function. What defines my unique approach is the ability to seamlessly shift scales—from large-scale urban landscape concepts and exhibition frameworks down to bespoke interior details and functional art objects. I firmly believe that the most impactful projects achieve total harmony between the general environment and its smallest, most meticulously designed component.

My professional path is supported by a strong and diverse academic foundation. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and an M.A. in Landscape Architecture from [Beheshti University], followed by an M.A. in Interior Design from Politecnico di Milano in Italy. This academic depth was further enhanced by interdisciplinary studies at the prestigious University of Applied Arts Vienna, with a special focus on exhibition design and curatorial practice. Professionally, I bring over 8 years of dedicated practice in Tehran, including 5 years focused on large-scale urban landscape projects and the successful execution of 5-6 significant interior design projects. This dual experience provides a rare global and local perspective. Most recently, I presented an art installation at Milan Design Week 2025, underscoring my commitment to merging fine art with tangible, functional design.

Currently, I am expanding my specialization through hands-on training in furniture construction techniques and dedicated research into museum design, curatorial practice, and site-specific installations. This ongoing commitment to learning allows me to engage in projects that require conceptual rigor, technical precision, and an integrated aesthetic. I am actively seeking collaborations with international firms, cultural organizations, and private clients who value a holistic design approach.
